Inspirational Media. The Way Forward

Last week or so I've been rolling through Kil2's PVP videos. I have to say I'm impressed not by his skill which is amazing. But by his commentary on the videos to spend time analysing what you did and what you were thinking at the time to show how split second decisions and good prep work pay off is brilliant. I think a lot of people are to scared to pvp but watching those videos may just sway them to try and keep trying. Kil2 didn't become good by mining he became good by dieing a lot and learning. Now he's returning the favour to the eve community by showing them how it's done. And they don't even lose a ship while learning how nice of him ^_^!

I you haven't seen these videos check them out on YouTube! I'm brushing off the rust once again and kil2 and Garmon are my inspiration.

You just got solo'ed

Hey guys im back! I took alittle break from EvE for my bday and some various RL catching upto do! But im back and sexier then ever! Last couple days Ive just been pottering about doing level 4 missions for some isk. Anyway today Im cashing in a mission and my bud calls out that a drake is robbing his wrecks while he's mining in his hulk and he cant warp as he keeps bumping him. So im like ok cool I'll come to your rescue *flexs*.

I land at the belt 5km from the drake lock him up and hit orbit at 18km just incase he has a scram and web ect. I start ripping him a new one when a gaurdian warps in I immediatly switch targets lock up the gaurdian and burn right for him drop a point on him and off the drake because lets face it raping there nuetral repper is just funny. He stands no chance my cynabal having every skill at level 5 now! Ripping through him within a couple of seconds and he explode's into a expensive ball of dust. I switch point back onto the drake he makes an attempt at running away but you cannot escape a cynabal! And even he crumbles to my awesome guns after a short while. I offer a GF in local but there trap failed they lost all there ships and to top it off they were solo'ed by what they thought was a carebear so they remain mute and docked up for the next hour or so.

I think my responsiveness gets 10 out of 10 for that fight I assessed hopped in a ship I knew could handle the job and went in with malicous intent. I didnt expect the gaurdian to warp in let alone land 30km from me, either way I was quick to change what needed doing in order to get the most out of the situation! Im learning slowly ;)

Thanks again for the kills guys! Next time get the abaddon to aggress too :P

Provi roam with a hint of nubcake

Sorry about short posting last week I have got myself a 3rd job, Yess I know overkill but hey lol.
So posting has taken abit of time to get round to doing and roaming suffered alittle but its the weekend and I wanted a roam so I went out with the guys from V3 alliance on a BC gang through Provi and some of catch! We headed up to D-GTMI and various other station systems looking for fights but didnt get much =/ Managed to snag a cynabal who took the bait and got himself scrammed and fleet jumped in and messed him up good and proper his friend ran away though. We ended up on evokes station in w.e system I forgot and a navy geddon and a couple of ceptors and bombers engaged our hurricane we warped in they all ran away or docked.  Managed to pop a ceptor on a evoke station while myself and the gang was holding out one jump trying to get a tempest to agress all in all was a nice roam no loss's and only a couple of kills but better then nothing!

However we did almost lose one ship. Tuantilis one of my guys great chap good pilot made a proper lol mistake he'd gone AFK after jumping into Dital we'd all warped off to our homes in the systems next door as the roam was over.. He not realising that we'd left came back from AFK and thought we'd gone back into KBP- so he jumps in and starts getting whored upoun by half of evoke but he managed to get out with 62% structure! Learnt his lesson now I think ;)

Mealstrom Madness and Sexy Loot

Ok so not much has been happening over the last couple of days. Works picked up and such and the website is starting to take some basic form \o/
But back to what this post is really about!

So recruitment is going well and we've had some quality pilots join up and participation is excellent on there part. So last night we had another chap wanting to join and he wanted to fly with us for abit before joining to see if we got on as a whole. So we took out a BC shield gang last night. 2 Drakes a Myrm, 2 Basilisk's and my trusty Hurricane! So we form up and make our way to Arzanni the final highsec before lowsec near Querious. 2 jumps in while waiting on gate for our scout ( A drake lol ) To check next system. When gate fires and a Mealstrom jumps through. He starts motoring back to the gate. I get the feeling it's a bit of bait so I have the drake jump in. As soon as he calls local clear and before I can even order to engage our Myrm pilot scrams/webs the mealstrom and starts hacking away. At which point guns free is called and the carnage begins! Mealstrom aggres's our Myrm pilot but the basi's are on top form and easily keep up with the damage. Maelstrom pilot deaggress's at 10% armor we spank the overheat button and very soon he goes pop! Despite his best efforts and his ship going boom the dude takes it lightly in local and gf's are exchanged!

So we continue on and get into Clani we're waiting on gate and as our scout jumps into Gehi someone jumps into us! And wallah it's the mealstrom pilot.. Again! He holds session timer and he's in another mealstrom. Now not ones to let a fellow pilot warp off in such a expensive ship. He's pointed and everyone starts laying into him he aggros and fleet decides fuck it. If it's bait it's dieing before we do! But this time round his ship has a monster tank! You'll see why in a minute =]

So we're bashing away he's at about 50% shields and a falcon decloaks as soon as I've called falcon primary Myrm drops his sentrys onto the falcon and half the fleet points him. His shields vanish and is put into armor as I get jammed. One of our basi's gets jammed but alas he fails to jam me again and when I get lock I managed to get 2 volleys off before he explodes. Quick decision by the Myrm pilot really made that easier then it shoulda been! Cyan in the myrm decides the falcon pilot fails. And pops his pod too =]

We switch back to the Mealstrom who at this point has clawed back some shields. Everyone overheats and then the myrm burns out his guns lol After what seem's like forever we finally get him into structure and he makes a extremely satisfying BOOM! All over the stargate. Pro Logi support during that fight made everyones lives easier and everyone worked well and did everything spot on. In truth with the kinda tank that meal had we'd have probably had to deaggro or died lol

2 Proteus land on gate and we decide that we should bug out just incase. As everyones drones had been dieing to sentry gun fire =[ And half our guns were damaged! We scoop loot and warp to safes. When it dawns on us that the guy was pretty much fully faction fit!

Republic fleet gyros! Dread Guristas Warp Disruptor! DG Shield Boost Amps ect! Quite abit dropped aswell =]  Worked out just over 500m Loss but our killboards not updating faction Items right o.0
 Good fights are exchanged in local and props to the guy for having such a mean tank! Now we know why lol! We made 244m just from the faction loot lol. Which was split between the fleet =] Happy days.

Winding down the roam we decided to pop into A2- in querious nothing much happened except a bait drake tryed to kill our gang but there fleet jumped to early so everyone bugged out much to the bemusement of Cyan who gladly stayed to make sure we got away safely by trying to take down the drake while being jammed to hell/bubbled/nueted ect lol <3



All in all was a great welcome to our new pilots! And we hope we get some more friends to fly with in the future!

M-M gets a visit from SR.

So with the highsec war not exactly being as fruitful as we'd hoped due to timing and low participation round peak for the otherside... We decided to instead of camping stations or being camped in stations we'd roll on to Wildlands and poke the locals.

We pulled together a fast and extremely deadly fleet. 2 Vaga's, Falcon, Rapier, Curse, Pilgrim. We fast rolled through the lowsec's prior to the nullsec entrance. We moved out of Egbinger the final lowsec and moved down the pipe towards M-MD38, Nothing was around to shoot at till we hit the M-M gate and ended up missing a hurricane by literally a couple seconds. We had the Rapier go in and scout 1 belt system and theres a drake ratting.. Fail. Rapier gets a tackle we warp in drake warps off.. Bigger fail =[

Warp stabbed o.0.

We make a couple of safes around the system and keep hunting. Nothing fights us for alittle bit till we decide to start harrasing them in local. Finally we warp to station undock and camp it down. When a rupture warps in at range to station. But in range of the 2 Vagabonds. Within a couple of seconds Im looting his wreck. Poor sod even lose's his pod hehe. Then a couple of drakes and a brutix and a myrm undocks.  Brutix is called primary and we burn him down fairly quick after a few seconds he goes Kabloom! Next up is a Drake, In the middle of shooting him a bomber appears and I start yelling PRIMARY HIZ ARSE! 2 Seconds later.. He is no more. By this time the drakes bleeding armor and as he goes pop several other drakes undock and a hurricane. We start working on the myrm but we're taking loss's now curse and pilgrim go pop. . Unsure how the curse died.. He should have been at range but meh =]  The calls made to bug out as the myrm hits structure but despite our efforts apparently he never popped o.0 Was a extremely fun fight even though we were out numbered 2-1!

There was a massive fail by one of our Vaga pilot's and FC.. Who made a suicide run to try and snipe a flycatcher he landed in his bubble burned out and in the warp process got tackled by a drake.. And he went boom. Opps!

Morale of this story is - Dont bite off more then you can chew or something like that =]

Roam to Catch and Querious - Hilarity Ensue's!

Ok so we're mid-roam taking a tea break after what has been the funniest roam to date.

We started off from our highsec base and made way to Keberez the system before HED- , 2 lowsec between our home and destination. Scout roll's ahead and checks it out, Apparently there's a Blackbird, Geddon and a Hurricane on the out gate to the 2nd lowsec system at 0m. We decide to bait them when all of a sudden a Nighthawk lands with them and jumps through. Scout jumps after and relays they engaged the nighthawk. After a quick decision we decide to come to the rescue of the Nighthawk pilot and thwart the evil doer's! Fleet lands on gate and engages the GCC guys on gate. Primarys called on the hurricane and he drops like a sack of bricks under the combined fire of our fleet. Next up is the geddon who tryed to warp off but I haz point on him and he is like aww shits. I decide that blackbird should not be allowed to live and take on the wrath of the gate guns in order to destroy his ship.. He goes pop as I dance around his wreck in my hurricane. I switch targets to the geddon he de-agress's and trys to make it back through the gate fleet overheats everything and burns down his last chunk of armor and he explodes into shiny pieces.

We wave the nighthawk pilot on who is extremely thankful for our efforts and we make some new friends! Infinite Covenant - Fly safer next time dudes!
Anyway after that little throwdown we roll to HED- and it's camped to high hell so we decide next stop.. QUERIOUS! Rolling through the 2 lowsecs we land on the A2- gate and jump in after a Typhoon who manage's to get out of the bubbles we dropped and warp off.. FML =[

I get bored and we decide to warp and bubble the station undock then someone gets stuck on gate and we lose a blackbird. Lol woops. We run around abit and get no fights =[ 
We warp back to the lowsec after being chased by a 50 man drake gang and an incursus pops into Kaira and I end up getting itchy and pop him.. GCC occurs and I warp off as Fran pods him. Win.

GCC dies out and we move into Ashmarir and try and get a Geddon, Drake and Hurricane to engage us on gate.. They wont =[ Then suddenly a claymore appears with GCC so we decide to engage that at 40% shields local bumps by 50 and incomes the drake gang. Pro jams from our falcon pilot gets all but 2 of our fleet members out. Then the best thing ever happens.. Im aligned to the highsec gate waiting session aggro timer. When call comes in that a 70 man fleet is about to jump into the 50 man fleet. We decide to whore killmails and warp to the gate only to see the other fleet warping off or jumping out. On comms all I hear is 2 BC's in highsec with GCC quick whore the mails!!!!!  I jump out to see in highsec 2 of the guys from the 50 man fleet 12km off gate with GCC! Concord appears and me and Counter through tears of laughter point both ships and start laying into them. Pop goes the drake. And the hurricane died way before we got load our guns!

So for a couple loss's we end up with some brilliant kills and the funniest moment ever in eve. And some new friends <3


Time to continue the roam so will drop another post if anything fun happens!

Missed oppurtunity's and Ninja Ransom

So last night was  really good fun. Well most of it lemme explains.

We do get the occasional visitor into our system but we are pretty quick to kill or put critical any wormholes that crop up. So usually it's a lone frigate or in last nights case a hauler. An Itty 5 had decided to poke into our hole and peak about it seem's so i fired up the proteus and dropped probes about 20 seconds later I hit and warped to 100km to see where he was and he was AFK at the nullsec WH we had open currently.
I fly back grab the arazu ( incase its bait arazu cost's less ) And warp to 40km ( point range ) to check and yea he's still there I tell fleet to align because everyone wants to whore the mail like the dirty hookers they are and then we lose one member to DC. No biggie its an itty not a carrier. However he had hit warp instead of align.. And landed on my ass and decloaked me, I hit the mwd after getting back on track but the itty jumped and was gone. Fail.
For those that are in fleets now and in the future. Never ever ever ever do anything unless the FC tells you to. If he says align.. Align! Never warp unless told to. You lose kills and create loss's that way. The chap accepted the mistake and said sorry once is fine mistakes are made i let it go =]

After that we went for a stint gas mining and killed 3/4 ladar sites I can't remember exactly how many I was camping another WH on a alt for lulz. While mining the gas though I got a mail from someone, It was the ceo of one of the pos towers we incapped while being bored in the first post! Me and Tali had previously killed 2 cruise batterys and a web that was offline and then drained the shields alittle before getting bored and leaving the system. But not without anchoring a can with a message on reading "We be back for the tower or isk later" Just for lols. Ofc we werent going to come back we were off fighting other nastys in another WH somewhere across the galaxy.
He mailed me basically saying he had only 2m isk left and he was thinking about leaving eve and was packing the tower up before we came in. Ofc me not being in system wasnt much I could do but me and Tal thought it'd be funny to see if he'd pay us that 2m isk anyway. After some talking I convinced him we were in system cloaked and that we had so much fun popping the 2 hurricanes the other day if he paid 2m to replace our ammo we'd let him go. We didnt expect him to pay seeing as we couldnt prove that we were there. But my wallet flashed and 1.98m isk was deposited into my wallet! Hahaha best ransom ever, Being able to get isk off someone when your not even there is just.. Well sweeter then if they are!

All in all it was a epically fun day with lots of harvesting of tasty isk making treats and alot of lol's along the way!

Fun Fights and Fail Fits.

So first blog of my eve career something i've been meaning todo for quite some time but in all honesty nothing that note worthy really happened untill the last couple of weeks. I recently returned from a extended AFK from the game real life stuff came up that required my attention and as such my game time suffered, but im back  now and having more fun then ever. When i returned i joined up with an old corp friend in his new corp ( I like sticking with close friends were I can ) Since joining we've had some fun fights, some fights that should have gone alittle better, and some that just made me laugh.


Last night I was out with Talihana a great pilot and a good friend, we decided we would go around and violence some people in wormholes, we scanned down about 15 systems in total and found 2/3 wormholes worth poking into the first one we were bored and decided to incap someones pos mods. Medium Caldari Control Tower with 2 Cruise missile batterys and 1 webifier. All offline, I'm not sure what the owners were thinking when they fitted this up but hey.. each to there own i suppose. Eitherway we sent them a firm message that badly fitted pos's get shot at by bored pilots like us.


Next up was a wormhole close to home. We'd been in a couple of times hoping to catch the owners unaware but it seems they were all offline and there tower atleast presented some threat to our  hurricane and stealth bomber. This time however upon jumping in a merlin was sat at the WH seemingly AFK. So we quickly sent him and his pod on there merry way.

I sat cloaked at the WH on the W-space side in my proteus while Tali made an attempt at locating any more subjects to test my guns upoun. We spotted a rifter and a dominix in a pos and waited to see if they would come and engage, while waiting the poor fella we sent packing jumped back through in a ibis blatantly ignoring the fact he would get quickly popped as soon as had done so.. But due to a nub mistake i forgot to decloak and couldnt work out why i wasnt able to target =[

However! 2 minutes later just when we were about to give up in he warps in a hurricane, being smart i jump out as 2 more hurricanes show up on scan and i didnt fancy being a T3 Kebab to a small BC gang, So in the spirit of sharing i dropped the call in corp to see if anyone wanted in. 2 lads known for there tendencys to violence anything that comes along dropped into fleet and i logged in my alt in her hurricane ( Gotta make it fair? Right? ) I decided that id have the fleet wait for me to hit the WH before hitting warp then id jump in and bait them off the hole alittle bit, The proteus was buffer fit with some nice modules on it to maximise its effective-ness so i figured i could hold my own till backup arrived. Tali was watching the WH in her bomber cloaked and notified me when one of the cane pilots jumped out. I sat at the WH debating what todo and decided i'd stick with the original plan. I called fleet to warp to me and jumped. On the other side 1 hurricane pilot was waiting i decloaked and he immediatly engaged me I pulsed the after burner to close range and opened up with my nuetrons, My alt and tish in his drake jumped in to help dispatch the poor soul. Unfortunatly tish missed out on that KM. Before i had time to curl up on the floor with laughter the other cane pilot's landed and round 2 commenced, A dominix landed aswell but immediatly jumped out after seeing the overwhelming force of awesome that was the Proteus, Drake, Hurricane, Manticore. Within seconds the other 2 hurricane pilots had succumbed to our violent tendencys and looking at there fits im not surprised. I had to laugh. Hurricane number one had a fetish for overdrive injectors, and hurricane number 2 well.. The fit says it all really. I managed to pod one of them for disgracing the hurricane in such a way. After i had fleet jump out and sit on the wormhole the dominix was on the otherside in highsec afk.
After a couple of minutes he accepted my convo and I managed to squeeze 30m out of him for me to warp the fleet away and let him go back home. All in all a fun fight and i gave props to the 3 hurricane pilots for engaging us, took some balls.

Being the first time taking out the proteus the damage ( even against the crap tanks ) was OP and the tank well... it never got tested.. 3 hurricanes shooting me didnt even make it through my shields. So my T3 got it's first blood, I also managed to get my first ransom which i split between the lads on the killmails and everyone had fun!

Hopefully there will be more Wormhole Violence to ensue!
